30 good minutes...

I am married, with 2 little ones (2 years and 5 months).

I just started back at my full time job, teaching PE at a middle school.

I train 2-3 fitness clients per week.

I teach at least 2 aerobics classes per week.

Life is FULL.

Sometimes I look at my "list" and I have no idea how I am going to get everything done AND fit in my own workouts on top of it all. Days and weeks can become overwhelming and when I think about all the details, driving, cooking, cleaning, and managing that goes into one week, sometimes I feel like my brain is going to explode.

It's interesting, but I have found that during the busiest times in my life, I have needed fitness the most. It's crazy how we can rationalize ourselves out of our workout time; saying things like, "I'm too tired", "I don't have time",when actually we will feel even more productive and empowered when we do set aside time to be good to our bodies. Many times, I found myself choosing not to workout because I didn't have "a whole hour." Realistically, I didn't need to have a whole hour, I just needed a good 30 minutes. 30 minutes to give back to myself...to recharge myself...to remind myself that in all the craziness that I matter and I'm WORTH it.

If your life is FULL, like mine and so many others, remember that YOU are WORTH taking care of. Get your good 30 minutes in, and a little more if you can! I promise you, that even when life is overwhelming, that special time will rejuvenate you.
